Driving to St. Peter’s Pool & Parking

You can easily reach St. Peter’s Pool by car from Marsaxlokk or if you are staying in the area. After exploring the charming little fishing village, we visited St. Peter’s Pool.

We didn’t check in advance where to park and ended up going to the paid parking lot, where we paid 3 euros for parking. Since it has two parking lots, don’t make this mistake. Although this paid parking lot is closer to St. Peter’s Pool, it’s not worth it, as even getting there is more difficult. Drive carefully as the road is very narrow, and two cars cannot pass each other. If someone is driving towards you, you will probably have to reverse a lot.

Instead, go to this parking lot, which is free, and from there, you can reach the site in 10 minutes via a narrow path.

Walking to St. Peter’s Pool

We saw many tourists walking to the natural swimming pool. If you are in the village, you can get there in about 30-40 minutes. However, it is extremely hot in Malta in the summer, so wear a hat or cap, as there will be no shade on the way, and bring plenty of water.

It’s good to know that there are no changing rooms or toilets at St. Peter’s Pool.
