Where to Stay in Gozo
1. Without a car – Victoria (Rabat)
Victoria is the perfect base for exploring the historic treasures of Gozo, and if you’re arriving by car it’s a good choice to stay in the city as it’s very cozy and you can find cheaper accommodation. Many restaurants, cafés, shops, large squares, and the city are easily accessible by public transport. From Malta Airport you can reach the ferry terminal (Cirkewwa) directly by bus X1.

After you get off the ferry, simply go to the Vapur bus stop and wait for the bus. Buses leave about every 30 minutes, so you won’t have to wait long to get to Victoria. As public transport on the island is very well organised, you can easily get to the main attractions and the beach.

In town, also you can rent a bicycle or an electric bike as the island is very small and you can get from one place to another very quickly.

2. Stay in Gozo near the beach
Where to stay in Gozo near the beach? If you want to stay close to the beach, we recommend Xlendi and Marsalforn.
Marsalforn is a small fishing village that still retains its roots, and a handful of local fishermen use the harbor as a base for their boats. The stunning bay in the village provides a breathtaking backdrop for pleasant afternoon and evening walks, a great choice for families.
