Getting from El Nido to Coron, Palawan
The distance between Coron and El Nido is about 280 km, which is 3.5-9 hours, depending on the type of ferry. The flight distance is shorter, about 126 km.

The slow ferry (6-9 hours) is temporarily unavailable!
There are two ways to get to Coron from El Nido: by fast ferry (3.5 hours) and by plane (40 minutes).

El Nido to Coron by Ferry
The best way to get from El Nido to Coron is by fast ferry.
You can also take a slow ferry to Coron, but they run rarely, and the journey takes at least 6-9 hours. Therefore, this option is only recommended if you spend enough time in Palawan or if you are on a budget.

The slow ferry is temporarily unavailable to Coron!
How to Get from El Nido Town to El Nido Ferry Terminal?
You can reach the El Nido Ferry Terminal from the town center in about 10 minutes of walking or a short tricycle ride. But arrive at least 1 hour before the departure of the ferry.
El Nido Ferry Terminal has a port fee of 20 PHP (0.35 USD).

Ferry tickets from El Nido to Coron start from 46 USD per person for one way. As the ferries run rarely, tickets can sell out quickly (especially in high season), so we recommend you buy online!

How Long is the Ferry Ride from El Nido to Coron?
The fast ferry takes just 3.5 hours (depending on the sea and weather conditions) and is one of the best ways to travel to Coron.

Only three ferry companies operate daily ferries to Coron.
- Montenegro Shipping Lines: 12:00-15:30
- Atienza Interisland Ferries: 12:30-16:00
- Jomalia Shipping: 08:00-11:30 (Except Tuesday and Thursday) & 12:30-16:00 (Daily)
Coron Port to Coron Town
The ferries will arrive at the Coron Port, about 2 km from the town center. Most accommodations are approximately a 30-minute walk or a short tricycle ride from the port. The tricycle costs 1-2 USD one way.
Upon arrival, you must pay the Environmental Fee of 200 PHP (3,50 USD) at the port of Coron. It is valid for 10 days.

How to Get from El Nido to Coron by Flight
Are you looking for the fastest and most comfortable way to get from El Nido to Coron? The flight departs from El Nido Airport (airport code ENI) and arrives at Francisco B. Reyes/Busuanga Airport (airport code USU).
But the airfare and airport transfers make this one of the most expensive options to get to Coron.
The flight takes just 40 minutes, and plane tickets start from 95 USD (without luggage) per person for one way. Airswift is the only airline that offers daily direct flights to Coron, and flights are usually affordable in the low season.

Coron Airport to Coron Town
Once you arrive at Francisco B. Reyes Airport in Busuanga, you can take a shared minivan or tricycle to Coron Town for just 5 USD per person. Coron is a 45-minute drive from Busuanga Airport.
