Fes by Minivan
One of the best and most popular ways to get to Fes is by air-conditioned minivan. The journey time takes 3.5 hours, depending on traffic and number of passengers. A shuttle minivan to Fes (any hotel) starts from 39 USD.
Chefchaouen to Fes by Taxi
The most expensive but fastest way to get to Fes is by taxi. The journey takes 3.5 hours, depending on traffic.
A taxi cost from the Blue City to Fes is between 175-265 USD, depending on the number of passengers, time of day, etc. If you are not traveling alone, the price is affordable.
Before you get in the taxi, be sure to agree on a price with the driver! Taxi drivers do not accept card payments, so you should bring local money (MAD) or EUR.

Chefchaouen to Fes by Private Transfer
The most comfortable way to get to Fes is by private transfer. The transfer departs four times a day, at 8 AM, 10 AM, 1 PM, and 4 PM. Then, meet your English/French-speaking driver and enjoy a safe and comfortable private transfer to Fes.
The journey takes 4 hours, depending on traffic. For four people, it costs 54 USD per person, and for six people, it will cost 36 USD per person, making it ideal for families and groups of friends.

Chefchaouen to Fes by CTM Bus
There is no train from Chefchaouen to Fes, as the Blue City has no railway station. So the cheapest way to reach Fes is by bus. In Morocco, we have always traveled by CTM bus because it is affordable, comfortable, and safe. The travel time is approximately 4.5-5 hours, depending on traffic.
There are currently only 3-4 daily direct bus services to Fes. You can check the current timetable on the CTM Maroc. The cheapest bus tickets start from 120 MAD (12 USD), and we recommend you buy them 1-2 days in advance.
A taxi from the Parking Place Outa el Hammam (near Hotel Parador) to Chefchaouen CTM bus station costs 20-30 MAD (2-3 USD).
We recommend you arrive at the bus station at least 30 minutes before departure. Be sure to buy a ticket for your luggage at the CTM bus station, which costs 5 MAD (0.5 USD) per luggage.
Take care of your valuables, as minor thefts or pickpockets may occur on public transport!
