How to Get from Menara Airport to Marrakech by Taxi
One of the easiest and fastest ways to get to Medina of Marrakech is by taxi. The journey takes 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
A taxi cost from Marrakech Airport to Medina is between 70-100 MAD (7-10 USD), depending on the number of passengers, time of day, etc. Between 8 PM and 6 AM, you have to pay an additional 50% surcharge for taxi fares. If you are not traveling alone, the price is affordable.
There are two types of taxis in Marrakech: Petit and Grand taxis. Petit taxis are only allowed within the city and can carry up to 3 passengers. Grand taxis can also take you to popular destinations outside the city, such as Agafay, Essaouira, and Casablanca. The Grand taxi can carry up to 6 passengers.
Before you get in the taxi, be sure to agree on a price with the driver. Taxi drivers do not accept card payments, so you should bring local money (MAD) or EUR. Marrakech Airport has ATMs and currency exchanges.

Bus from Menara Airport to Marrakech
The cheapest way to get to Medina Marrakech is by shuttle bus. The bus runs every 30 minutes daily between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM. Take the No. 19 bus from the airport to the Jemaa el-Fna square, then walk to your accommodation.
A one-way bus ticket costs 30 MAD (3 USD), and a round-trip ticket costs 50 MAD (5 USD) per person.
Buses depart from the Entrée Aeroport bus stop, about a 5-minute walk from the arrivals hall. If you want to travel by bus, bring local money (Moroccan dirham), as you can buy your bus ticket after boarding. The journey time takes 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic.
